THE TEAM
Ticketmaster UK part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations sponsorship ticketing solutions ecommerce and artist management. The Ticketmaster Marketing team drives customer engagement via our Content CRM and Performance Marketing channels creating campaigns to retain existing fans acquire new fans and ultimately drive sales.
THE JOB
The role of the SEO Editor is to help implement a data-driven content strategy which drives incremental growth in Ticketmasters organic reach & share of voice within specific target verticals.
Reporting to the Head of Content and the SEO Manager the role here will occupy a pivotal role within the wider Marketing department. They will assist the content team in driving reach and engagement via fully optimised unique copy based on thorough keyword and competitor research.
Day-to-day work will focus on researching planning and writing SEO-led editorial pieces for the site covering previews reviews listicles interviews and features as well as assisting the Content team with artist and event page optimisations.
The ideal candidate will need to be web-savvy strategically minded creative and possess a flare for writing engaging and interesting copy across all genres of live entertainment with a specific focus on theatre musicals comedy and days out.
Applicants will be dynamic content creatives with excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills. They will collaborate well with members of the wider business to create facilitate and promote word-perfect copy. They will be great at multi-tasking at juggling short-notice requests and at keeping a tight focus under pressure comfortable producing an average of 1-2 articles per day as well as keeping on top of site updates and other work. The ideal candidate will havea passion for editorial a keen interest in SEO and a real love of live entertainment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Write multiple short- and long-form articles about Ticketmaster events and listings with Search Engine Optimisation at the core
- Work closely with the SEO Manager and Head Of Content on keyword analysis projects and on the implementation of wider SEO strategy
- Proactively work on bespoke projects to develop Ticketmasters search engine visibility particularly across theatre musicals comedy and days out
- Identify SEO gaps and devise solutions
- Regularly update and maintain a back catalogue of editorial articles looking for timely ways to refresh and repost
- Pick up requests to optimise site event/artist pages with SEO content modules
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
- Proven experience in an SEO or Content writing role for an editorial content marketing or media organisation
- Experience using a CMS (content management system) particularly WordPress and Prismic
- Educated to degree level in Journalism (or a related subject)
- Experience using SEMRush is highly desirable
- Excellent up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends
- Ability to use Microsoft office software packages to a competent standard
- Experience with Salesforce is desirable but not essential
