Overview:
Our client a precision aerospace components manufacturer is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with deep experience in CNC machining and complex assembly operations. This is a strategic role for an engineer who thrives on taking ownership improving processes and seeing projects through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and lead continuous improvement projects across CNC machining and mechanical assembly lines.
Develop maintain and optimize BOMs and routings for aerospace components.
Support and lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Interpret engineering drawings/specs into actionable manufacturing solutions.
Design custom tooling and fixtures to improve cost quality and efficiency.
Partner with capital project teams and materials review board (MRB).
Ensure AS9100 compliance across operations.
Requirements:
BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (required).
10 years in manufacturing engineering ideally with aerospace or precision manufacturing experience.
Strong CNC machining knowledge (programming experience is a big plus).
Proven Lean/CI background with a get-it-done mindset.
Strong hands-on approach and technical problem-solving skills.
