Role Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation in neonatal and pediatric medicine.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Supervise and mentor medical staff and residents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Participate in clinical research and stay updated with the latest medical advancements.
- Educate families on medical conditions treatment options and preventive care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Manage emergency situations and provide immediate care as needed.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for accurate documentation.
- Participate in community health initiatives and educational programs.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training.
- Advise on pediatric health policies and protocols.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects within the institution.
Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent in Pediatrics with relevant specialty training.
- Board certification in Pediatrics (Neonatology preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatric care.
- Strong clinical skills with a pediatric patient focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Experience in managing neonatal emergencies and critical care.
- Proficient in patient management software and EHR systems.
- Excellent mentorship and teaching abilities.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice.
- Research experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties as required.
