Role Responsibilities:
- Teach Hindi language and literature to students at the secondary level.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through tests and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance.
- Implement classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
- Encourage student participation and facilitate discussions in class.
- Integrate cultural and historical contexts into language lessons.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum standards and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to the Hindi language.
- Communicate effectively with students and their families to build strong relationships.
- Stay updated on the latest educational trends and methodologies in language teaching.
- Adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs and abilities.
- Facilitate a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Contribute to the development of school community events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Hindi Education or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching Hindi at the secondary level.
- Strong command of the Hindi language both written and oral.
- Familiarity with educational technology and teaching tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create and implement engaging and innovative lesson plans.
- Knowledge of curriculum design and student assessment methods.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
- Understanding of educational standards and state regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing classroom dynamics.
- Relevant teaching certifications or qualifications in Hindi education.
- Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
This on-site position is based in India and we are looking for qualified candidates who are passionate about education and dedicated to inspiring the next generation of Hindi speakers.
