Job Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Oklahoma City OK 73179
Pay Rate: $21.50/hr
Shift: Multiple shifts available
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This hands-on position involves troubleshooting repairing and maintaining production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will have mechanical and electrical repair experience strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems on production equipment
Perform basic electrical diagnostics using voltmeters and other testing tools
Read and follow work orders to assess equipment issues and complete necessary repairs
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
Keep accurate maintenance records and communicate findings to supervisors
Participate in daily shift meetings and prioritize maintenance activities accordingly
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of mechanical electrical and control systems
Ability to use standard and specialized hand tools
Experience with troubleshooting overhead cranes is preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
