A leading construction firm is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to oversee and implement quality assurance and quality control policies across ongoing projects in Riyadh. The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with company standards client specifications and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement across all quality functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop implement and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans procedures and systems in accordance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
Manage and lead a team of QA/QC engineers inspectors and document controllers to ensure effective quality control on-site.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications drawings and approved quality standards.
Coordinate with project managers consultants subcontractors and suppliers to address quality-related issues and corrective actions.
Ensure that materials received and construction works are inspected and approved in a timely manner before installation/use.
Prepare and submit quality-related documentation including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) Method Statements NCRs and QA/QC reports.
Support the development and delivery of quality training for site personnel to enhance quality awareness.
Liaise with client representatives and consultants during inspections and audits.
Review and approve subcontractor quality plans and monitor their compliance throughout the project.
Lead the handover and close-out process ensuring all quality documentation is compiled and submitted in accordance with project requirements.
Bachelor s degree in Civil Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity within large-scale construction projects.
Strong knowledge of international QA/QC standards and quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
Proven experience with quality documentation audits and compliance procedures.
Excellent understanding of construction methods materials and inspection/testing techniques.
Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality-related software tools.
Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulations and standards is an advantage.
Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama are preferred.
