Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and self motivated Java Backend Developer with 35 years of experience in developing scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. As a key contributor you will design develop and maintain backend services RESTful APIs and ensure performance scalability and security of our backend infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot)
Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices
Participate in code reviews unit testing integration testing and documentation
Collaborate with frontend developers DevOps engineers QA and product managers to deliver quality software on time
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize backend performance
Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB)
Develop and maintain secure authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT OAuth2 etc.)
Ensure CI/CD integration and participate in deployment processes
Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies in sprint planning and execution
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
35 years of hands-on experience with Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot framework
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development
Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL MySQL or Oracle
Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis
Knowledge of message queues (e.g. Kafka RabbitMQ) is a plus
Good understanding of Git Maven/Gradle and CI/CD pipelines
Solid understanding of OOP design patterns and software engineering principles
Basic understanding of Docker and containerization
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good communication and team collaboration skills
Nice to Have
Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
Exposure to AWS cloud platforms
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana)
Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and testing frameworks
Understanding of secure coding practices and application security concepts.
