We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Manager - Civil to join our team in the North East region of the United States. In this critical role you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control processes for civil engineering projects ensuring that all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Develop implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures for civil engineering projects
- Lead and mentor a team of quality control inspectors providing guidance and support
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications building codes and safety regulations
- Analyze quality control data and prepare comprehensive reports for management and clients
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and contractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential quality-related problems
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards regulations and best practices in civil engineering and quality control
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and third-party inspectors as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and outcomes
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering quality control with a proven track record of success
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Quality Control certifications (e.g. ASQ Six Sigma) are a plus
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles construction materials and methods
- Proficiency in quality control systems processes and relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and mentor teams
Additional Information :
Salary: Salary range is dependent on scope of work location of project as well as level of experience. This range could fall anywhere between $110k - $170k
