Job Description
Were seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support microbiological testing and lab operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role involves performing endotoxin and bioburden testing preparing microbial cultures conducting growth promotion and water activity testing and supporting general lab maintenance. The ideal candidate has hands-on microbiology experience strong documentation skills and thrives in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
Duties Include:
- Endotoxin and bioburden testing
- General lab duties (cleaning stocking cold room 5S etc.)
- Challenge recovery of drug substance and raw material
- Preparation of microbial cultures used in for validation protocols developmental studies and growth promotion
- Growth promotion testing
- Mold spore suspensions
- Water activity testing
- Plate reading
- Data verification and review
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in science or other related degree concentration
- 1-2 years related experience preferable in a quality control microbiology laboratory
- Standard microbiological methods and aseptic laboratory technique experience such as bioburden (membrane filtration) and endotoxin (LAL) testing
- Knowledge of cGMP preferred
- Experience working in a laboratory setting
- Experience with LIMS and Electronic laboratory notebooks
- Proficiency with MS word and excel
- Understanding of experimental design and scientific methodology in order to interpret results and draw conclusions
- Authorization o work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Details:
The position is full-time first shift Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Andover MA are encouraged to apply.
