Compass Government Solutions LLC is seeking an IT SME to provide services to Service Members (active duty reserve components and National Guard) Coast Guard Veterans and their families at The Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE). In preparation to bid on this contract we are seeking qualified candidates willing to be included in our proposal as interested and skilled individuals.
Job requirements:
- Serve as the primary technical authority and point of contact for complex issues and strategic decisions within your designated IT domain.
- Provide expert consultation and technical guidance to project teams developers operations staff and leadership.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear understandable information for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead or contribute significantly to the design architecture and implementation of new IT systems solutions and enhancements.
- Ensure designs align with business requirements industry best practices security standards and scalability needs.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies tools and methodologies to improve existing systems and processes.
- Act as an escalation point for intricate technical challenges and critical incidents.
- Perform in-depth analysis to diagnose and resolve highly complex technical problems often requiring innovative solutions.
- Develop and implement preventative measures to reduce future occurrences of issues.
- Develop document and enforce technical standards procedures and best practices within your area of expertise.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct technical reviews of designs and implementations to ensure adherence to standards and quality.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced IT professionals fostering their growth and skill development.
- Develop and deliver technical training sessions to internal teams as needed.
- Share knowledge proactively across departments to build organizational capability.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends emerging technologies and advancements within your IT domain.
- Conduct research and proof-of-concept initiatives to assess the applicability and benefits of new technologies for the organization.
Qualifications :
- A bachelors degree in a field related to Information Technology or Information System
- A least a year of experience is medical software and service management platforms (e.g. ServiceNow) and Electronic Health Record systems
- A least a year of experience in providing technical support in healthcare and contact center support (preferred)
- Proficient in understanding the integration of various software applications in relation to healthcare systems
- Effective oral and written communications and time management
