Job Description
We are looking for a curious and motivated Software Development Intern to join our internal development initiatives at Gameloft.
Our team is responsible for building and improving the foundation for Gamelofts worldwide web stores as well as the tools and services that support their deployment management and optimization. We collaborate with developers across the globe to continuously evolve these systems to meet the demands of a large international user base.
As an intern youll contribute to proof-of-concept (PoC) projects internal APIs and support toolsgaining practical experience in a collaborative learning-focused environment away from the pressure of live production systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of internal tools APIs and services that facilitate workflows across teams.
- Help build lightweight web interfaces or scripts to streamline internal processes.
- Write clean maintainable code with team guidance and document your work clearly.
- Contribute independently and take ownership of small-scale tasks or prototypes.
- Participate in discussions on design technology choices and experimentation with new ideas.
Qualifications :
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language such as Python PHP JavaScript or similar.
- Basic understanding of web technologies including HTML CSS and front-end frameworks (e.g. React Vue).
- Basic proficiency in AI tools (e.g. code assistants prompt-based querying or workflow enhancers).
- Exposure to version control tools such as Git.
- Fundamental knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data structures.
- Strong problem-solving mindset attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when tackling unfamiliar problems.
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON/XML handling.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS GCP) or containerization tools like Docker.
- Familiarity with responsive design or accessibility principles.
- Interest in automation technical experimentation and workflow optimization.
