Job Summary
This is a manager level position requiring extensive compliance experience that will be responsible for overseeing permitting certifying licensing and regulatory compliance of complete resort facilities including hotel guest rooms food & beverage operations pools convention centers casino and both guest facing and non-guest facing areas. Candidate will also be responsible for accurate reporting of using excel word electronic MMS programs and any other reporting tools with timely completion of work assignments and a high level of productivity while maintaining high positivity in a fast-paced work environment. Job duties will include the following but will not be limited to;

  • Strong computer skills and software knowledge will be required. Position will be in constant use of Microsoft office programs electronic MMS work order systems and company specific with AutoCAD or other drafting programs is extremely helpful in this role.
  • Candidate will need to be able to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Candidate will need to be well versed in national regional and local permitting requirements to track and ensure timely renewals when required. This includes but is not limited to NVDOT CCBD CCFD SNHD OSHA EPA NFPA DAQEM and similar agencies.
  • Will be expected to comprehend safety standards and requirements and work towards full facility compliance.
  • Will be required to hit deadlines and complete job tasks as set by leadership without direct monitoring or oversight.
  • Must be flexible to schedule additional hours if needed for assistance with various projects.
  • Candidate will oversee and facilitate safety compliance and equipment training ensuring all team members meet Caesars high standards for safety.
  • Candidate will be expected to demonstrate safe work practices with a solid understanding of safety requirements when working around steam and 480v three phase equipment.
  • Candidate will be expected to demonstrate safe work practices with a solid understanding of safety requirements when working with various cleaning chemicals while ensuring training and compliance to GHS standards.
  • Per OSHA guidelines the candidate must participate in all company provided safety training and follow all required safety guidelines and processes established in the department.
  • Team member will oversee the training curriculum of 350 team members.
  • Should be able to communicate professionally in all email correspondence.
  • Will support team compliance to company and department policies and procedures. Position may be required to issue discipline for violations to those procedures.

Minimum Candidate Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong computer skills (MS products including Excel)
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Should be able to type 40-50 WPM.
  • Successful completion of OSHA 501 Trainer Course for General Industry

  • Some outdoor work
  • Ability to perform various activities such as constant standing walking frequent bending reaching kneeling and squatting.
  • Extensive periods of walking standing or sitting
