The Logistics Ops Project Coordinator provides varied and advanced level administrative and support services of front-end project initiation planning and execution reporting. This role will work closely with internal and external Program owners to coordinate the planning scheduling and tracking of projects programs and initiatives. The candidate will be expected to employ strong technical and organizational skills to coordinate requirements and deliverables with the customer; document best practices; schedule and prioritize tasks; gather inputs and prepare documentation or briefings for/from technical review meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance customer relationships by identifying areas for improvement in the overall customer experience
- Support operational oversight of priority warehouse functions and act as first POC
- Build customer relationship and provide excellent customer service understanding their needs and goals
- Assists with project proposals and deliverables with Program Sponsor and other related departments/partner teams that will be involved to determine proper lead time.
- Work with PMs on documenting project scope and high-level requirements
- Documents tracks and receives project documentation and deliverables
- Shares information and updates with our onsite team and relevant sponsor(s) as relevant to project activities maintaining effective communication and working relationships
- Assist in documentation and tracking of project risks issues action items and decisions as part of the project management activities
- Follow-up and track project statuses and update the project tracking system with pertinent information
- Create project related reports from the project work breakdown structure
- Disseminate information related to project schedules
- Attend/lead project review status meetings a capture notes and action items and disseminate as appropriate
- Conduct post-implementation reviews (i.e. evaluate performance against defined project goals)
- Assist in tracking monitoring and communicating project-related issues scope changes variances and contingencies that may arise
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in project management including emerging tools techniques and best practices and proactively apply new knowledge to improve analytical processes
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or equivalent working experience
- 3 years experience in warehousing supply chain and logistics
- 3 years demonstrated experience as key contributor to projects
- Advanced Analytical skills - Ability to perform exploratory analysis to identify GAPs highlighting improvement opportunities
- Ability to define develop document and implement business processes and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-starter with the ability to triage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Time management resource management attention to detail and persuasion skills needed
- Strong knowledge of PowerPoint Microsoft Projects Visio Lucid or Smartsheets (preferred)
- Manufacturing or machine production knowledge (a plus)
