Job Description

In this vital role youll be responsible for overseeing and supporting all aspects of end-user computing and telephony while leading the strategy and lifecycle management of IT assets across the business. From infrastructure equipment to software licensing youll ensure the effective management control and optimisation of our IT estate.

What youll be doing:

  • Youll be responsible for line managing two team members providing guidance support and regular performance feedback.
  • Leading the strategy for IT hardware and asset management across the business

  • Keeping our asset inventory accurate up-to-date and audit-ready

  • Improving systems and processes to reduce waste and drive efficiency

  • Supporting end users with desktop hardware and software issues

  • Managing IT equipment lifecycle procurement and stock levels

  • Producing insightful reports and identifying opportunities for cost savings

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth asset recovery and compliance

  • Creating clear documentation and supporting project delivery


Qualifications :

What were looking for:

  • At least 3 years experience managing desktop systems and IT assets

  • Background in a fast-paced IT service environment

  • Confident working independently and managing vendors and suppliers

  • Skilled in maintaining large asset databases with a strong eye for data accuracy

  • Comfortable bringing fresh ideas and driving change across teams

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset

  • Solid knowledge of IT hardware software and licensing models

  • Hands-on experience with tools like SOTI (or similar MDM) Active Directory (on-prem & Azure) and SCCM

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
