Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Review and stay current with quantitative and qualitative studies in professional journals reports or publications devoted to studying faculty development student-centered pedagogies and diversity equity inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) in higher education in order to communicate relevant trends and make recommendations.
Manage quantitative and qualitative data collection processes in support of a mixed-methods framework for data analysis.
Serve as a liason between faculty and staff partners in order to bring evidence-based improvement strategies to the functional area of faculty affairs.
Analyze collected data and support writing manuscripts and reports of findings and implications.
Create data summaries that can be used to support the development of grant proposals reports and papers.
Develop data visualizations storytelling narratives and other resources/materials for a variety of audiences.
Provide consulting support on data literacy and utilization to build capacity among faculty and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Requisite Qualifications
Typically a Masters degree or equivalent experience. Strong candidates will have a background in the social sciences education policy research or related fields. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge skills and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
Minimum three years of experience in research methodology assessment evaluation methods preferably in a higher education setting.
Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of: quantitative and qualitative research methods research design and statistical analysis; student success faculty development and DEIA in higher education.
Familiarity with the academic enterprise within a university and knowledge of key issues and concepts in higher education.
Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports including statistical analysis and presenting findings to an academic audience.
Highly developed organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal analytical organizational and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to use computer software packages that must be used to analyze data make presentations write reports etc. (e.g. SPSS ATLAS spreadsheet programs presentation programs and word processing programs)
