Light Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester

  • East Suffolk Services Limited Ufford Depot IP13 6ET
  • 38293.82 per annum (plus overtime)
  • 40 hours per week (generally MondayFriday)
  • Permanent

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join East Suffolk ServicesTransport Fleet and Workshop Team as a Light Vehicle Technician / MOT tester.Youll be more than a box-ticker; youll be the unseen guardian of every journey delivering essential local services and making a real difference to a quarter of a million people across East Suffolk.

  • Working on a brand-new fleet of modern vehicles
  • No night shifts
  • Only 3 fixed Saturday shifts a year (thats right just 3)
  • Consistent Monday to Friday working 8-hour days real-life work balance whilerespecting your time valuing your expertise and giving you the space to breathe

Your role:
As part of our Workshops Team you will inspect service maintain diagnose and repair vehicles to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet health and safety and legal requirements.

You will also attend breakdown callouts and ensure all internal and external customers receive excellent customer service.

What you will need:

  • Have a minimum of City & Guilds Part 3 or IMI level 3 in motor vehicles studies qualification.
  • Excellent knowledge of vehicle maintenance standards required and be IRTEC registered.
  • You will be a hard-working team player who can work on their own initiative using their technical expertise to make sound judgments.

A Full UK driving Licence is an essential requirement of this role.
