WeCare Medical Specialty Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantitative Researcher to join our growing remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills a deep understanding of statistical methodologies and a passion for using data to drive clinical and operational improvements. This position will support research initiatives related to patient outcomes operational efficiency clinical trials and quality assurance by collecting analyzing and interpreting complex healthcare datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute quantitative research studies related to healthcare delivery patient outcomes and clinical operations.
Analyze large healthcare datasets (e.g. EMRs claims data survey data) using statistical software such as R Python or SAS.
Develop predictive models and conduct statistical analyses (e.g. regression time-series multivariate analysis) to support data-driven decision-making.
Translate findings into actionable insights and present results in clear concise reports or visualizations (e.g. dashboards charts data stories).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians data scientists IT specialists and administrators.
Ensure data quality integrity and security in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
Prepare manuscripts white papers and presentations for internal stakeholders and potential publication.
Stay current with advancements in data science medical research methodologies and healthcare analytics.
Qualifications:
Required:
U.S. Citizenship or valid U.S. Work Permit (REQUIRED no exceptions).
Masters or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics Biostatistics Data Science Economics Applied Mathematics Epidemiology or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting quantitative research preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment.
Proficiency in one or more statistical programming languages: R Python (with libraries such as pandas NumPy SciPy scikit-learn) or SAS.
Strong understanding of research design statistical analysis and experimental methods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or matplotlib/seaborn.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Preferred:
Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) medical claims data or clinical trial data.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and predictive modeling.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA.
Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals or presenting at professional conferences.
