ROLE SUMMARY
The Director Oncology Portfolio Marketing will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the Director of Oncology Portfolio Marketing helping to shape and execute Pfizer Oncologys brand strategy and omnichannel initiatives. This role will lead cross-functional coordination drive executional excellence and contribute to the development of business-oriented marketing solutions that elevate Pfizers presence in the oncology ecosystem.
This individual will be expected to bring a strong strategic mindset operational rigor and a collaborative spirit to support the delivery of high-impact marketing initiatives. The role requires agility initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Success in this role will include the successful support for the development experimentation and scaling of proven disruptive innovation.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the Director Oncology Portfolio Marketing to co-develop and implement the Pfizer Oncology brand narrative and positioning strategy.
Drive the execution of omnichannel marketing initiatives across new and existing channels ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders and external touchpoints to deliver one holistic brand narrative.
Evolve the Pfizer Oncology digital ecosystem as to serve the needs of the business.
Serve as a liaison between the Oncology Business Unit (OBU) CMO Clinical Trials and Corporate Comms to ensure cohesive messaging and execution across business initiatives campaigns and innovative pilots.
Partner across OBU on unbranded initiatives to create efficiencies and deliver one cohesive message platform.
Manage end-to-end project planning execution and performance tracking for key portfolio initiatives.
Oversee vendor relationships budget tracking and compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Bachelors degree required plus 10 years experience; MBA or Masters degree plus 8 years of experience preferred.
Experience in omnichannel brand management and marketing.
Deep understanding of existing technologies and digital platforms at Pfizer.
Deep understanding of the healthcare and biopharmaceutical ecosystem.
Experience with GCMA inclusive of marketing/marketing manager responsibilities.
Agile mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Organized problem solver with demonstrated track record of exemplary performance and ability to support complex projects and cross-functional teams.
Experience working across multiple geographies.
