We are seeking a full-time 40-hr Licensed Practical Nurse Lead to support our Pediatrics team! The desired schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm located at 1 Park Way in Haverhill.



Job Summary

Summary

Responsible for providing direct patient care and supervising a team of LPNs and nursing support staff by coordinating patient care activities overseeing the daily operations of the nursing unit and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Essential Functions
-Provide direct patient care including administering medications performing treatments and assisting with activities of daily living.
-Provide leadership and guidance to a team of LPNs and nursing support staff.
-Collaborate with RNs physicians and other healthcare providers in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
-Educate patients and their families about their conditions treatment plans and self-care techniques.
-Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation of medication administration.
-Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records including assessments care plans progress notes and medication administration records.



Qualifications

Education
Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Licensed Practical Nurse required

Licenses and Credentials
Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - State License - Generic - HR Only required Basic Life Support BLS Certification - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred








Experience
Nursing Experience between 2-3 years is required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities




-Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.

-Leadership and supervisory abilities with experience in team coordination and staff supervision.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients families and healthcare professionals.

-Ability to prioritize tasks make independent decisions and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
