Metro State University a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System is seeking to hire an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management. This is a full-time probationary (tenure-track) position within the Management Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management Department and will start on August 18 2025.

Description of College: The College of Business and Management (CBM) located in Minneapolis Minnesota is a catalyst for positive change a beacon of hope and an institution promoting lifelong learning where learners become passionate citizens and ethical leaders capable of transforming their communities. The College transforms lives by providing equitable access to a high-quality affordable business education. With a commitment to inclusion and civic engagement we engage our diverse learners in acquiring skills and knowledge required to evolve organizations. The College hosts five departments that serve approximately 2300 full-time and part-time students with 33 tenured and tenure track faculty 129 community or adjunct faculty 9 academic advising staff and five staff.
The Department: The three major disciplines of the department-Management Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management-focus on creating strategic and effective organizations. The department offers five undergraduate majors and three minors and plays an integral role in both the MBA and DBA programs. The department takes pride in its collegiality and inclusivity and is committed to supporting our diverse students on their journey to becoming better organizational practitioners and managers through high-quality instruction and flexible delivery options.
