Job Description
Funds Associate 4 PQE Singapore
Our client a leading offshore law firm is seeking a 4PQE Funds Associate to join their growing Funds team in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-to-senior level lawyer to take the next step in their career working on a mix of fund formation incorporation and regulatory matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a broad range of funds-related matters including fund formation structuring and incorporation across various jurisdictions.
- Handle regulatory compliance matters for funds working closely with the firms dedicated regulatory team.
- Provide strategic advice to asset managers private equity firms and other institutional clients on fund establishment governance and operational matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firms global network
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to the development of the team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4-7 years of PQE in funds-related work gained at a reputable law firm or in-house.
- Qualified outside of Singapore in a common law jurisdiction (e.g. UK Australia New Zealand).
- Strong technical expertise in fund formation incorporation and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with a variety of fund structures including private equity hedge funds and mixed funds.
- Excellent drafting negotiation and communication skills.
