Job Description: Finance Associate 3 PQE Hong Kong
Our client a leading international offshore law firm is seeking a 3 PQE Finance Associate to join its highly regarded Finance team in Hong Kong. This is an exceptional opportunity for a lawyer with offshore experience to work on complex cross-border finance transactions within a dynamic and supportive environment. The firm is also open to considering Senior Associates with strong offshore experience for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a broad range of finance transactions including leveraged and acquisition finance syndicated lending and structured finance.
- Handle offshore finance matters with a focus on Cayman Islands British Virgin Islands (BVI) and other offshore jurisdictions.
- Draft review and negotiate finance documentation including loan agreements security documents and intercreditor agreements.
- Provide strategic advice to banks financial institutions and corporate clients on cross-border financing structures and regulatory considerations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3 years of PQE in finance-related work gained at a reputable onshore or offshore law firm.
- Senior Associates with strong offshore experience will also be considered for this role.
- Strong understanding of Cayman Islands and/or BVI law.
- Experience in leveraged finance acquisition finance or structured finance is highly desirable.
