Loader

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Monmouthshire to assist with the appointment of a Loader on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 12.85 - 16.32 per hour

Summary:

As a Loader in the Recycling and Waste team you will be an essential part of Monmouthshires frontline services. You will assist in the efficient and safe collection of recycling and waste materials across the county helping us to achieve our goals of sustainability environmental cleanliness and excellent public service.

Responsibilities:

• Collect domestic and commercial waste and recycling materials (e.g. food waste garden waste residual waste dry recycling hygiene waste).
• Ensure timely and accurate collections as per council schedules.
• Return bins/receptacles to appropriate locations without obstructing driveways or pavements.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in collection areas post-service.
• Deliver professional and courteous service to the public.

Qualifications:

• Experience in an operational/manual role preferably in waste management or a similar environment.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Health & Safety protocols.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for form completion.
• Clean driving licence.
