SEN Learning Mentor Richmond September 2025 Start
Location: Richmond South West London
Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: 444.00 per week (PAYE)
Interviews: June/July 2025
Are you a Psychology or Education graduate passionate about supporting pupils with additional learning needs
A warm and inclusive secondary school in Richmond is looking for an SEN Learning Mentor to work with pupils who have EHCPs and other SEND requirements. This role is ideal for someone hoping to pursue a career in educational psychology SEND teaching or therapy.
As an SEN Learning Mentor youll support pupils with a range of learning and emotional needs helping them to access the curriculum build confidence and make academic progress. The school is well known for its inclusive approach and strong team culture.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to SEN pupils needs
- Assisting in classrooms to help adapt lessons and resources
- Working closely with the SENCo and pastoral team to monitor pupil progress
- Helping pupils build confidence independence and resilience
Were looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in Psychology Education or a related subject
- A calm compassionate and professional manner
- A genuine interest in SEND and pupil wellbeing
- Availability for the full academic year from September 2025 to July 2026
Please note: Applicants must hold a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot accept overseas degrees (even with a UK Masters). Sponsorship is not available.
