Job Description
Based at Dandenong South Melbourne Glass Outlet is recognized Australia wide as a leader in the wholesale supply of glass aluminium fencing balustrading aluminium screening shower screens and accessories.
Full-time positions are now available for a motivated all-round Warehouse Storepersons and MR Drivers with warehousing experience.
Commencing immediately and working as part of a friendly team you will be involved in all general day-to-day warehouse operations including (but not limited to):
Picking and packing of orders for trade customers and inter-depot inventory transfers
Deliveries are to business premises and also to residential addresses. You would be assisted with an offsider if required.
Assisting with receiving & putting away of incoming stock
Forklift operation
Ensure that for inwards goods any discrepancies are followed up promptly
General warehouse and inventory tasks as required
To be successful in the role you should possess the following skills:
Experience in a warehouse role with sound knowledge of the workings of a goods in/goods out distribution business
Good communication skills having regard to interaction with warehouse/office staff and customers
Possess a current forklift license
A current MR licence is required for the MR Driver position
Enjoy great work-life balance with working hours of 7.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
