About the Role
Are you a passionate legal professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to culturally safe client-centred practice Djirra is looking for another Managing Lawyer to join our growing Legal Services team helping to lead service delivery across both Metropolitan and Regional Victoria.
In this pivotal leadership role youll provide strategic direction hands-on support and expert supervision to a dedicated team delivering holistic legal support to Aboriginal women. Youll help build and maintain a positive empowered team culture while ensuring our services meet all legal professional and accreditation standards.
As a key member of Djirras Legal Services leadership team youll work closely with the Legal Practice Manager to deliver impactful culturally safe legal assistance that supports Aboriginal women and their families.

Requirements
Essential:
- You are a qualified legal practitioner holding or eligible to hold an unrestricted Victorian Practising Certificate.
- A Working with Children Check Card
- A Police Check
Desirable:
- Victorian Legal Aid Panel Certifier status or capacity to apply for certification. Post-graduate qualifications.
