As a Kit Shipper at Oshkosh AeroTech youll do more than move warehouse material youll help build the systems that keep airports running safely around the world. This role is hands-on technical and detail driven. Youll work with a variety of subassemblies and components supporting both warehouse and production work across multiple product lines. From picking material to closing out purchase orders youll be part of a team that values precision safety and pride in every shipment.

YOUR IMPACT

• Coordinating the movement of materials parts and assemblies
• Safely and properly load unload and move materials in all stages of the production process
• Check incoming and outgoing materials and report shortages or damaged materials during that movement to ensure product is moved accurately.
• Operate hand trucks power trucks overhead cranes road vehicles and mobile cranes to safely and efficiently move production materials
• Accurately fill orders from storage and deliver the orders to the correct location
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory by updating computer systems processing inventory transactions and completing other internal documentation as needed
• Assist with the creation and fulfillment of purchase orders
• Safely stack pallets and arrange material

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions purchase orders and other similar job materials
• Ability to add subtract multiply and divide using whole numbers fractions and decimals
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16
• Basic computer literacy
• Possess a valid Utah Drivers License

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior warehouse and shipping experience including pick lists and safe vehicle operation
• Familiarity with Styleine TeamCenter or similar systems
• Ability to obtain forklift or crane certifications

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our kit shippers work in a dynamic hands-on environment that requires standing lifting and regular movement throughout their shift. Youll work with a variety of parts tools and machinery to assemble and finish high quality airport systems. This role required lifting up to 35lbs and involves physical activity such as standing reaching and crouching throughout the day.
