In this role you will be working as an Excavator Operator for a client that works in the construction industry. This position will be responsible for operating heavy equipment specifically excavators to dig trenches and perform site preparation on active construction projects.

This position is a contract-to-possible-permanent role that is a high-priority need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Requirements:

  • Experience working around a pipe crew REQUIRED
  • 5 years of experience operating excavators on commercial construction sites
  • Proficient in trenching for underground utilities (stormwater sewer etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans grade stakes and trench depth specs
  • Strong awareness of safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Experience coordinating with site supervisors and utility crews
  • Skilled in operating other heavy equipment is a plus (e.g. loaders backhoes)
