Job Description
Are you a skilled Water/Wastewater Hydraulic Modeler looking to take your career to the next level The company leading engineering consulting firm is hiring a Project Engineer II to join our fast-growing Water/Wastewater team. Youll work alongside top industry professionals on impactful projects involving sanitary sewer systems and potable water distribution system modeling across the Mid-Atlantic region.

What Youll Do:
- Lead and execute hydraulic modeling projects for water wastewater and stormwater systems
- Develop calibrate and update hydraulic and hydrologic models using software such as InfoWorks WaterGEMS XPSWMM EPA-SWMM and KY Pipe
- Analyze system performance identify deficiencies and recommend planning/design solutions
- Create detailed technical deliverables including hydraulic calculations reports and presentations
- Manage project timelines budgets and resources for modeling assignments
- Support proposal development and prepare scopes of work for modeling and planning projects
- Coordinate and guide junior staff including mentoring on modeling techniques and QA/QC processes
- Collaborate directly with clients and attend project meetings to provide expert consulting support
- Prepare and compile contract documents cost estimates and design packages
- Participate in master planning efforts and long-term infrastructure planning for public agencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 810 years of water/wastewater engineering experience with a focus on hydraulic modeling
- Advanced proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWorks WaterGEMS KY Pipe EPA-SWMM or similar
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards municipal regulations and design codes
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
