Your role

As Head of Strategy and Partnership within Saabs Airborne Early Warning (AEW) business unit you will play a key leadership role in shaping the strategic direction of one of our most advanced and future-focused domains. This includes responsibility for both business and product strategy with particular focus on our flagship AEW solution - GlobalEye.

You will also lead a small team of experts within the strategy and partnership area while working cross-functionally across the Surveillance business area and Saabs broader product portfolio to drive strategic initiatives and partnerships.

In this role you will:

• Lead the development and execution of the AEW Strategic Business Plan in accordance with Saabs annual strategic planning process.

• Drive the product strategy for AEW focusing on GlobalEye ensuring competitiveness and relevance in a rapidly evolving global market.

• Develop and implement effective ways of working to execute on strategic priorities.

• Identify initiate and manage strategic partnerships that strengthen AEWs position within Saab and in the market.

• Act as a key advisor to senior leadership providing insights and direction based on the strategic landscape.
  

You will report to the Head of AEW and work in close collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business unit and the broader Saab organization. The role may involve occasional travel.

Your profile

You are a forward-thinking and structured leader with a strong technical background ideally a degree in engineering combined with a sharp strategic mindset. You thrive in complex environments and have a proven ability to lead initiatives from idea to implementation.

You likely bring:

• 10 years of experience from strategic leadership roles such as Head of Strategy or Business Development.

• A strong ability to develop and execute long-term strategic plans.

• Experience in managing strategic partnerships and stakeholder relations.

• Experience leading cross-functional work and driving alignment across organizational boundaries.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Fluency in both Swedish and English written and spoken.

• Proven experience of leading teams with personnel responsibility is an advantage
  

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
