Our client is an industry leader in mining technology delivering smart scalable software solutions for autonomous fleet operations and heavy industry automation. Their mission is to support safe efficient and data-driven mining practices through high-performance backend systems.
Were looking for a Senior Solution Architect with hands-on experience in mining environments particularly with autonomous fleet systems to help drive the next generation of their software platform.
About the Role
As a Solutions Architect Fleet Management & Autonomy you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering scalable high-performance architecture for autonomous mining solutions. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to capture and document detailed requirements translating them into comprehensive design specications for the development team. Your ability to communicate technical concepts eectively and provide ongoing support to developers and testers will be critical to the success of this project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design for fleet management and autonomy platforms in large-scale mining operations.
- Translate high-level requirements into detailed well-dened design specifications that are clear concise and ready for development.
- Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure system integration aligns with design goals.
- Ensure architectural integrity performance and alignment with long-term strategic goals.
- Assess emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption or integration.
- Provide architectural governance technical mentoring and solution assurance across development teams.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in architecture roles within mining technology industrial automation or autonomous systems.
- Proven experience as an Architect with a track record of successfully designing and delivering complex software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Background in software engineering systems engineering or mechatronics preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
