Job Description
Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Lakewood CO office. After one year a hybrid remote schedule may be discussed.
Note: The qualified candidate for this position must be licensed to practice law in Colorado and have 7 years of district court trial experience or an insurance defense background.

Job Description
- Independently manage litigation matters across all stages: case evaluation intake discovery negotiation trial and appeal
- Represent clients in district and county courts as well as administrative hearings
- Handle insurance defense litigation fiduciary and contract disputes FHAA complaints covenant enforcement and real estate litigation
- Draft pleadings discovery responses and legal briefs
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and strategic advice
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
- Participate in business development and firm networking initiatives
Qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado
- 7 years of district court litigation or insurance defense experience
- Exceptional writing research and communication skills
- Strong organizational and case management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case/document management software
- Knowledge of PracticeMaster and NetDocuments a plus
- Portable book of business is a bonus but not required
