Job Description

Primary Purpose
The Director of HR Partner Services will develop processes focused on a high-quality employee experience. They will make sure there is a direct alignment between unit business needs and HR services. This role will lead and manage a team of HR business partners ( HRBP ) who are assigned to a specific unit and serve as a resource throughout the employee lifecycle. They will implement service standards create efficiencies within existing resources and proactively identify service improvements. The Director of HR Partner Services will serve as a member of the HR leadership team and will report to the Chief People Officer.

Essential Functions
Responsible for developing HRBP processes to support unit partnerships and advocacy. Responsible for hiring and developing HRBPs and making sure the right partner is placed with the right business unit. Oversee HRBPs as they assist units with employee relations strategic planning and reorganizations performance management recruitment employee engagement and general management advice. Responsible for investigating and identifying services metrics report out to unit and gather feedback from unit to best support University goals and support HRBPs. Advise on strategic organizational design initiatives as well as high-level sensitive or critical employee relations issues. Provide strategic advice and partnership to management and employees across a wide range of HR disciplines spanning the full employee life cycle. Drive strategy for client-facing human resources and provide consultative support to drive key priorities while establishing and interpreting policies. Oversee the integration of DEI and EEO into all processes while advancing University goals. Responsible for achieving HRBP metrics. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree (Two (2) years of full-time experience in the same/similar position is equal to one (1) year of completed post high school education coursework). Three (3) years of human resources experience providing direct client support.

Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree. Professional in Human Resources ( PHR ) or SHRM Certified Professional ( SHRM -CP) certification. Knowledge of human resources concepts policies and procedures employment practices labor relations salary administration training and other areas of human resources. Knowledge of management and organizational concepts. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to analyze needs and resources and to recommend and communicate solutions effectively. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice equity and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
