To ensure we can succeed in this new environment and deliver on our mission for patients Global Procurement (GP) has transformed to build capabilities and create an agile organization that will deliver on our vision to accelerate Roches goal to bring innovative solutions to patients quickly and efficiently through business and supplier partnerships.
Business Solutions & Outsourced Programs is a team within GPs Strategy & Solutions chapter focused on running our global Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Contingent Workforce Program seeking optimization of services to deliver value and responding to active requests with new innovative solutions. This is an exciting area where you can innovate and drive value in a critical strategic area of the business develop cross-functionally connect closely to business needs and deliver meaningful long-term value. This position reports into the MSP and Temporary Labor Solutions Lead.
The opportunity:
As a contingent workforce expert at Roche you will play a key role contributing to the success of our total workforce strategy within GP in collaboration with People & Culture (P&C). As a lead for the Americas you will:
Develop innovative market-leading solutions going beyond traditional procurement practices
Build and manage strategic supply base relationships including with MSPs
Assess and prioritize opportunities in contingent workforce landscape
Lead value creation initiatives that optimize costs whilst enhancing service delivery
Manage strategic and technology-led projects with cross-functional teams
Act as a champion of next generation reporting and analytics
Adapt based on future opportunities and changing customer needs
Who you are
You will bring 8 years experience in Procurement; Supply Chain or consulting with Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field.
You have extensive experience in complex matrixed environments.
You demonstrate expertise in developing and managing large MSP and contingent workforce programs.
You have a solid understanding of external workforce trends legislation and VMS technologies such as Fieldglass (preferred but not required).
You have proven success in managing large complex projects driving structured processes and meeting milestones on time.
You excel in communication leadership and stakeholder management.
You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills distilling complex data into actionable insights.
