As we prepare for commercialization we are seeking a Buyer and Logistics Coordinator

SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to support our plants operational purchasing logistics and supply chain activities. This role will ensure timely purchasing and effective material flow to enable uninterrupted production. You will be responsible for
ordering a range of materials from existing agreements - from direct raw materials to MRO supplies tracking orders coordinating shipments
and supporting the implementation of site-level procurement processes.



This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience across the full Source-to-Pay (S2P) cycle logistics coordination and supplier engagement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Dayshift business hours (8/9 AM- 4/5 PM) or as agreed with your manager

Please note: This position does not offer relocation assistance. Candidates must be located in the Wilson North Carolina area or be willing to relocate at their own expense. Additionally visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US and now require visa sponsorship now or in the future.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchasing & Procurement Operations

  • Execute purchase requisitions and purchase orders for:
  • Direct call-offs (materials and consumables needed to produce products)
  • US Tail Spend and low-value frequent purchases
  • MRO supplies and non-product facing consumables
  • Track open purchase orders monitor delivery times and proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Support vendor onboarding processes
  • Co-ordinate purchase order life cycle management including resolving blocked invoices and PO discrepancies.

Inventory & Logistics Co-Ordination

  • Co-ordinate incoming and outgoing shipments in collaboration with the Warehouse carriers and planning function.
  • Ensure shipping documentation is prepared accurately and shipments are tracked end-to-end.
  • Support customs documentation and freight management as applicable.
  • Assist in routine warehouse inventory management activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Support training and guidance on Source to Pay (S2P) processes for site stakeholders
  • Assist with process improvements in purchasing and logistics workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Must consistently follow all safety and food safety protocols guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. This includes compliance with properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) identifying and reporting potential hazards and actively participating in safety training and initiatives. A commitment to maintaining a culture of safety and minimizing risks to yourself and your colleagues is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of experience in purchasing logistics or supply chain coordinationpreferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and general proficiency in other Office Suite tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems; experience with
    Netsuite is a plus.
  • Familiarity with planning tools.
  • Basic understanding of vendor negotiation supplier management and contract management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication
    and follow-through.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented hands-on environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Authorized to work in the US (Believer is an E-Verify participant).
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.
