Lead Food Server
The Lead Food Server works with our Lead Food Server to prepare breakfast lunch and dinner for our 500 students daily. This position ensures that meals are served on-time in compliance with health regulations and NSLP regulations and that students have an enjoyable breakfast lunch and snack experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare student breakfast lunch and snack by warming food (as needed) and distributing onto student trays/plates and to classes.
- Ensure each tray/plate has the correct servings in line with meal service regulations.
- Ensure that food is prepared in accordance with all health regulations.
- Follow Etoile Academys HACCP Plan to ensure food safety.
- Ensure students with allergies receive the correct meals.
- Give direction and leadership to other food servers or ops members supporting meal prep.
- Deliver breakfast and lunches to classrooms as needed.
- Complete all required and recommended food service trainings.
- Complete all required paperwork for food preparation.
- Collaborate with the Ops Team to ensure meals are timely efficient and enjoyable for students.
- Collaborate with the food vendor to ensure meals are timely efficient and enjoyable for students.
- Tidy cafeteria after meals to ensure a welcoming environment for all students.
- Trash removal after meals.
- Other duties as needed to support student success.

Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- A commitment to working with underserved urban youth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with a diverse staff
- Open to feedback desire to continue development as a professional and willingness to take responsibility for student outcomes and achievement
