Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The company is seeking a highly skilled and results-orientedSenior Quality Assurance Managerto lead the QA team dedicated to our retail e-commerce platforms. This role is crucial for ensuring a seamless high-quality and secure online shopping experience for our customers with a significant emphasis on automating testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will champion the user experience and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement robust quality management systems and automation strategies that drive continuous improvement and ensure successful product launches and updates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Retail E-commerce QA Strategy & Leadership:Define and implement strategic QA initiatives focused on our e-commerce platforms including websites mobile apps and supporting systems. This involves developing comprehensive test strategies and automation roadmaps that align with business goals and optimize efficiency.
- Automation Framework & Execution:Lead the design development and maintenance of scalable and robust test automation frameworks for our e-commerce platforms. This includes functional regression performance security and integration testing. Oversee the execution of automated test suites and ensure timely and accurate reporting of results.
- User Experience (UX) Focused Testing:Ensure seamless user journeys and a positive customer experience by prioritizing cross-browser and cross-device testing conducting exploratory testing and integrating accessibility testing into the QA process.
- Performance and Load Testing:Develop and implement strategies for performance and load testing to ensure the e-commerce platform can handle high traffic and transactions especially during peak seasons.
- Security and Compliance:Implement and manage security testing procedures to protect sensitive customer data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations like GDPR and PCI-DSS.
- Team Leadership and Development:Lead mentor and train a team of QA engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning automation expertise and collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Product Management Development Design and Operations teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the e-commerce development lifecycle.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze testing metrics and platform performance data to identify areas for improvement track progress and provide insights to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement:Drive initiatives to enhance QA processes improve efficiency through automation and implement best practices in e-commercetesting.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors degree in information technology or Related
- Experience: 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and a least 3 years in a management position
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Proven experience in QA management with a strong focus on retail e-commerce and test automation.
- Extensive experience designing developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress Playwright).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter Gatling).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Java or JavaScript.
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies procedures and practices.
