Department Overview:

TD Merchant Solutions (TDMS) is a unique business within Business Banking at the forefront of many emerging trends in the financial industry such as e-commerce payments innovation and strategic partnerships. TDMS provides reliable flexible and easy to use e-commerce and Point of Sale (POS) card payment solutions to small business commercial and corporate clients. TDMS is the only Canadian fully bank-owned and operated merchant acquirer managing all debit and credit card transactions for our merchants from authorization through to clearing and settlement. This end-to-end capability is a competitive advantage for TD uniquely enabling the bank to meet more of the financial needs of our Business Banking clients.

The Merchant Delivery team (MDT) is part of the Client Delivery and Experience Team within the TD Merchant Solutions line of business and is responsible for:

  • On-site Deployment Installation and Support Maintenance of TDs Point of Sale (POS) payment devices at merchant locations throughout Canada
  • Second Level Technical support for onsite Technicians
  • Scheduling and implementation of major merchant and product roll-outs
  • Complete Lifecycle Management and Inventory including Security Key injection

We are looking for a Business Management Analyst with strong reporting organization and leadership skills. Reporting to the Manager Merchant Delivery within TD Merchant Solutions the successful candidate should have good communication skills both written and verbal and be able to problem solve. Primary responsibilities include helping co-ordinate and report on vendor and project metrics for Merchant Delivery Team.

Activities include but not limited to:

  • Conduct regular ongoing analysis evaluation / assessment of field vendor performance including SLA trends and root cause
  • Create statistical reports for service call trend analysis
  • Work with management and specialists to achieve Service Delivery KPI through collaborative reports
  • Support the development of presentations/communications and dissemination of information for stakeholders
  • Ensure that business operations adhere to guidelines established by internal risk/compliance advisors and external regulators
  • Continuously enhance knowledge / expertise in own area and keep current emerging trends/developments and grow knowledge of the business analytical tools and techniques
  • Prioritize and manage own workload in order to deliver quality results and meet assigned timelines
  • Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business quality innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners program and project managers
