Job Description
The Role:
Fidessa Corporation seeks a Developer in Jersey City NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of computer systems engineering and data structures to design software write technical documentation define software test plans and plan and execute reasonable timelines for software development projects.
- Responsible for developing high-quality software that is accurate and efficient primarily using C on UNIX-based platforms.
- Gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications. Design develop test and deploy software applications.
- Responsible for writing test notes and documentation in support of software development and running unit and integration tests of internal software.
- Monitor the performance of Fidessa software components and provide recommendations for system improvements as well as develop and test application revisions as necessary. Responsible for system maintenance including identifying troubleshooting debugging and remediating software malfunctions and other issues with our complex software.
- Identify opportunities and recommend changes regarding software system development and maintenance standards.
- Provide expertise in software development to internal teams with the goal of designing and implementing software components that meet complex business and technical objectives.
Required Skills Experience and Qualifications:
- Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 1 year of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Salary Range:
The estimated salary range is $124500 to $130000 per year. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and skills.
