NXTGEN are working with a thriving and well-established business based in Norwich to recruit a confident and motivated Credit Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves taking ownership of the credit control and sales ledger process and who thrives in a busy supportive finance environment. As Credit Controller youll play a key role in maintaining strong cash flow and ensuring the smooth running of the sales ledger all while building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues across the business. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all sales ledger invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
- Posting bank receipts into the system accurately and efficiently
- Handling client calls to process card payments in a professional manner
- Proactively chasing overdue invoices and resolving any outstanding queries
- Maintaining the credit control spreadsheet and completing reconciliations
- Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc duties and project work as needed
My client is looking for someone with previous experience in either credit control or sales ledger who can demonstrate strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. Confidence using Excel and Microsoft Office is essential along with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
