Im working with a well-established East London law firm with a strong presence in conveyancing litigation family and private client work.
Theyre now looking to bring on a Post Completions Clerk to support their busy conveyancing team. This is a full-time permanent position with a good level of responsibility and client contact.
Prepare and submit SDLT AP1 and FR1 applications via the Land Registry portal
Collate supporting documents for registration
Ensure applications are submitted within OS1 priority deadlines and manage requisitions before expiry
Maintain accurate records on both case management systems and paper files
Liaise with colleagues to resolve any requisitions and registration queries
Update lender clients through portals email fax or letter
Upload post-completion documents to LMS and Lender Exchange portals
Ensure clients receive final confirmation and documents once registration is complete
Provide occasional cover for reception as needed
Solid understanding of the conveyancing process and Land Registry procedures
Experience using lender portals (LMS Lender Exchange etc.)
Ability to audio type confidently and accurately
Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically
Clear and professional communication skills
A proactive can-do approach and able to work independently
