Position Overview
TD Securities provides a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate government and institutional clients who choose us for our knowledge and experience in six key areas of finance: Investment Banking Debt Capital Markets Institutional Equities Private Equity Precious Metals and Foreign Exchange & Money Market. Our services include the underwriting and distribution of new debt and equity issues providing advice on strategic acquisitions and divestitures and executing daily trading and investment needs.
The Global EFX team are responsible for providing Support for the TD Securities Vendor and Inhouse Etrading systems to the front office businesses located in major financial centres including Toronto New York London Dublin and Singapore.
The Production Engineering Associate interacts with all users of Front Office Finance & Operations Back Office Treasury Credit and Risk Management to develop and implement lasting and robust technology solutions as well as support the existing application and surrounding framework.
Roles and Responsibilities
Supporting & delivering solutions to the firms FX & Commodities Trading & Sales desks in Europe (London & Dublin)

The Senior Analyst will join an experienced team responsible for managing applications that offer pricing trading risk and valuations to Business.

The role will initially involve limited 1st and expansive 2nd line application support responsibilities engagement with a broad range of stakeholders across Front Office Development Risk Management and Infrastructure teams.

Training will be provided though given the nature of the role the successful candidate is expected to have a hands on attitude and be proactive to enhance their knowledge.

Systems and applications comprise vendor and in-house built tools with Pricing Execution Trading and Algo Management systems.

Bank holiday coverage weekend work (rota basis) occasionally out of hours and other weekend work may be required from time to time

Shift coverage typically between 7am 5pm. Onsite coverage is required 5 days a week.
Job Requirements

Experience supporting Trading Pricing and Algo Management applications at a functional and technical level.

Experience supporting front-to-back Trading Systems and Trading Desks

Should be comfortable assessing complex trading systems/components to investigate trade breaks connectivity and data issues.

Understanding of financial markets and products FX & Commodities

Understanding of electronic trading ECNs Liquidity management markets connectivity market making and algorithmic/automatic trading.

Strong analytical skills

Mandatory Technical skills: Linux SQL FIX Etrading Pricing and Execution platforms

Desirable Technical skills: KDB MongoDB Autosys ITRS Splunk Dynatrace Python

Desirable Product Exposure: Broadway D3 KDB 360T Fxall BBG FXGO Reuters

Understanding of pricing curves and models

Must have proven experience working with developers business analysts and systems support team.

5yrs of applicable experience

Knowledge of IT project & development lifecycles (SDLC) agile methodology and ITIL (desirable)
