PACS Administrator Clinical Support Specialist Charlotte North Carolina

Job Description

In this position as a PACS Administrator Clinical Support Specialist you will be embedded with one strategic healthcare customer reporting to their primary site while providing remote and on-site support across their geographically dispersed network of facilities. You will act as a trusted clinical partner ensuring smooth software adoption optimized imaging workflows and a high standard of end-user satisfaction.

Your role:

  • Serve as the primary clinical support liaison for a single healthcare customer supporting radiology and cardiology software platforms.
  • Report daily to the customers Charlotte North Carolina location while also assisting users at multiple regional sites.
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting clinical workflow guidance and user education to radiologists cardiologists technologists and clinical teams.
  • Collaborate with customer IT and clinical departments to ensure seamless operation and integration of RIS/PACS CVIS imaging modalities and reporting systems.
  • Build deep knowledge of the customers imaging and diagnostic workflows to continually drive improvements and support evolving clinical needs.
  • Travel to additional client locations on a routine or as-needed basis to provide on-site support during critical periods.

Qualifications:

  • Clinical background in radiology cardiology or medical imaging with roles like PACS/CVIS Administrator Technologist or Clinical Application Specialist.
  • A Bachelors Degree in Engineering Medical Science related field or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare clinical support or medical softwareespecially in post-implementation or customer-facing roles.

  • Strong understanding of imaging workflows and standards (DICOM HL7 RIS PACS CVIS) and familiarity with imaging/reporting systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with clinical technical and administrative teams.
  • Willingness to travel; preferred experience with AI-assisted imaging healthcare system integration and multi-site environments.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.

This is an field role. You will be located at the customers site and can travel up to 50% of the time to other customer locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position in (North Carolina) is $31.00 to $52.00 plus overtime eligible.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills experience business needs geographical location and internal equity.

In addition other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Additional Information

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position you must reside in or within commuting distance to Charlotte North Carolina.
