Shenandoah Universitys Child Care Department is accepting applications for a lead teacher in the 2-year-old classroom. This is a full-time benefited position located in Winchester Virginia. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45am -5:45pm.
Shenandoah University Childcare Center offers a warm exciting and friendly atmosphere. The lead teacher will:
Required Education Level and Experience:
Must be at least 21 years of age and meet ONE of the following educational requirements:
1. A Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and one year of programmatic experience.
2. Associates Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of18 Credits in ECE and one year of programmatic experience.
3. An endorsement or bachelors degree in a child related field such as but not limited toelementary education nursing or recreation from a college or university and one year ofprogrammatic experience;
4. A graduate degree in a child related field such as but not limited to elementary educationnursing or recreation from a college or university and six months of programmatic experience
