Johnson County Area Agency on AgingNutrition Programiscurrently seeking a qualifiedcandidate to fill the position ofOn Call Van Driver.This position will work one day a week with a nutrition van driver and subfor three drivers as needed Monday - Friday.
Job Description
The job dutiesinclude:
- Driver will load and deliver pre-packaged meals to NeighborhoodSenior Centers.
- Will deliver meals to Meals-on-Wheels clients per route sheets.
- Completes required paperwork.
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of food transport equipment.
- Maintains cleanliness of vans inside and outside.
- Assists with vehicle maintenance by ensuring vehicles have sufficient fuel and reporting vehicle operation concerns.
- Will assist in other areas as needed.
Job Requirements
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. One year preferred experiencedriving a delivery/commercial type vehicle.
The successful candidate must possess a valid drivers licensewith anacceptable driving record and successfully pass a criminal history background check.
