DescriptionThis is a temporary position.
The FLEX Senior Manager Future Property Management Systems (PMS) will provide operational input and PMS subject matter expertise to support business requirement testing and refinement for future systems including but not limited to Single Pane of Glass (SPOG) Stay PMS Auto Room Assignment (ARA) Guest Experience Platform (GXP) and Opera Cloud (OCPMS). This position also plays an active role in supporting defect management and the future PMS strategy including providing input into design testing training deployment and support.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
- 4-year Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Marketing Hotel and Restaurant Management or related field; OR a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge can be gained.
- 5 years of hotel property management systems experience or other relevant experience including OPERA Lightspeed FSPMS and/or FOSSE
- Experience working with international teams and supporting global systems and operational processes
Preferred
- FOSSE LSPMS FSPMS & Opera V5.6 property management system experience
- Hospitality leadership experience
- Experience with other Marriott Property Management Systems includingGuest Experience Platform (GXP) and Central Reservation Systems
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Refine and document acceptance test scenarios and create test scripts with expected outcomes based on functional and technical design documentation.
- Conduct comprehensive testing using defined scenarios including end-to-end business process validation to ensure system functionality and identify defects or gaps.
- Record and report testing outcomes providing clear pass/fail results for business user acceptance testing.
- Validate business processes and training content from an end-user perspective to ensure usability accuracy and alignment with operational workflows.
- Track and update system issues and bugs using tools such as Jira and participate in defect triage meetings to support timely resolution.
- Retest and validate fixes or enhancements provided by system vendors or internal development teams to confirm resolution of reported issues.
- Import and execute test scenarios in test management tools (e.g. Zephyr TestRail) and maintain accurate records of test cases executions and related defects.
- Communicate potential risks or issues to the test lead that may impact project timelines scope or quality.
- Analyze and document current and future state business processes identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to accurately interpret and test requirements support design discussions and contribute to documentation.
- Elicit prioritize and document user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile environment translating business needs into actionable tasks.
- Develop and maintain functional and integration testing requirements including service level agreements (SLAs) and change control documentation.
- Create and manage test plans for user functionality testing incorporating integration and role-based scenarios across systems.
- Provide ongoing support to development and implementation teams by clarifying requirements and addressing functional design questions.
- Identify and evaluate alternative solutions to business requirements offering recommendations and collaborating with vendors or partners as needed.
- Assist in the development of training materials including e-learning modules job aids and facilitator guides tailored to various user roles.
- Document frequently asked questions and common troubleshooting steps to support user adoption and reduce support requests.
- Help maintain user guides quick reference materials and training logs to ensure consistent and accessible documentation.
The pay range for this position is $47.30 to $56.83 per hour.
