What youll be doing:
- Taking apparel racks to sales floor sorting and hanging new merchandise.
- Designing setting up and maintaining displays as required.
- Ensuring floors are free of stock and that all rack and shelves are neat.
- Rotating stock and ensuring racks are left presentable and neat.
- Moving stock to the processing area of the store.
- Scanning items out of POS inventory as required.
- Tidying shelves racks bins or displays and removing stock that is being rotated as needed.
- Assisting Retail team members at cash registers with wrapping or bagging merchandise for customers
- Providing world class customer service to all Goodwill customers.
What you bring to the table:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Must be 15 years of age or older.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Previous customer service experience is an asset.
- Must have sufficient verbal and written command of the English language.
- Exceptional customer service skills to interact with donors and members of the public.
- Dependability and reliability are required.
- As this position requires lifting sorting and moving donations candidates must be able to regularly lift in excess of 10 kilograms (22 pounds).
- Must be responsible for own transportation to and from work as well as to and from Goodwill training sessions.
- You demonstrate teamwork and engage fellow Team Members in contributing to Goodwills mission & core purpose.
- You have an open and honest attitude while making moral decisions.
- You recognize the great efforts of fellow Team Members through genuine recognition activities.
- You contribute to a welcoming & accepting work environment by showing respect at all times.
