RN Cardiovascular Critical Care Contract Role Job Details: - Location: Concord NH 03301
- Duration: 13 week
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2784 $3024
Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive high-acuity nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients including post-cardiac surgery post-CABG valve replacements and cardiac arrest cases.
- Monitor and manage ventilators invasive lines (e.g. central lines arterial lines) vasoactive drips and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Perform rapid assessment and intervention in life-threatening situations using advanced critical care techniques.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians respiratory therapists and surgical staff to coordinate care and treatment plans.
- Accurately document patient assessments interventions and responses in the EMR (Cerner preferred).
- Administer medications titrate drips and perform advanced nursing procedures per protocol and provider orders.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans recovery expectations and post-discharge care.
Required Experience: - 2 3 years of recent CVICU RN experience
- If closer to 2 years candidate must be a strong self-starting RN with broad critical care experience.
- Must demonstrate ability to work independently and quickly adapt to changing conditions.
Licensure: - Active RN License for the state of New Hampshire or Compact RN License
- License verification required prior to start
Certifications Required: - BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA or ARC
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA or ARC
- NH State License
Preferred Certifications: - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
EMR Experience: - Cerner EMR Preferred but not required
