Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging computer science curriculum for primary school students.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods to foster student interest in technology.
- Maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement assessment strategies to evaluate student performance and progress.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
- Incorporate digital tools and resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate technology into other subject areas.
- Conduct workshops for students on basic computer skills and internet safety.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and educational methodologies.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to school community events.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and initiatives.
- Develop lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards.
- Engage students through interactive activities that promote teamwork and creativity.
- Monitor classroom behavior and provide guidance as necessary.
- Prepare students for technology-related assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Education or related field.
- Teaching certification recognized by the Indian government.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience preferably in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of computer science concepts and technology tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse classroom effectively.
- Experience with curriculum design and lesson planning.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms.
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other educational software.
- Knowledge of educational best practices.
- Patience and adaptability in various teaching situations.
