Job Title:Production Assembler
Job Type:Temp-to-Hire
Pay:$17.00/hr
Location:Neosho MO
Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dedicated Production Assembler for an immediate temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a clean background pass a pre-employment drug screen and demonstrate a strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for candidates with solid mechanical knowledge and prior assembly experience preferably in furniture or cabinet manufacturing. A stable work history and proven experience in assembly processes are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to specifications and detailed work instructions.
- Efficiently use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
- Operate machinery on the assembly line while following safety protocols.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure assembled products meet established standards.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in training new employees on assembly techniques and safety practices.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment as necessary.
Requirements
- Experience:Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting is required.
- Education:High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with blueprints and technical documents.
- Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g. screwdrivers drills) for assembly tasks.
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols including wearing protective gear.
- Experience in manually packaging ready-to-assemble products and stacking items up to five feet high.
- Skilled in quality assurance ensuring defect-free products that are correctly packed and stacked on pallets.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift bend push pull stoop crouch reach and extend arms wrists and fingers constantly.
- Must be able to stand walk and lift for 10 hours per day.
- Experience using manual pallet jacks and assembly equipment.
- Work Environment:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced assembly line environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing production needs and schedules.
